City Cycling 2023

Get on your bike together for 21 days: BURG was at the start with a total of 5 colleagues at the annual city cycling event in Wetter an der Ruhr. The focus is on: collecting as many kilometers as possible and covering as many everyday journeys #climate-friendly as possible.

In the overall performance for the most cycled kilometers per team, BURG came in a good 12th place with comparatively few cyclists, in the overall ranking for the most cycled kilometers per capita, BURG came in a strong 4th place And in the individual ranking our colleague Silvia Schneider cycled an amazing 839 kilometers on her bike to take a well-deserved 1st place!

For this super performance, our colleagues Silvia Schneider, Silke Beckmann, Herbert Pyka, Karin Wehrmann and Manfred Keller put in a lot of effort - many thanks for so much dedication, commitment and ambition!
