For the design handle “IE-G”, BURG was awarded with the iF Design Award in silver
What other designers dream about for years, Christian Pals, a graduate of Münster Polytechnic, was able to achieve on his first attempt winning the silver iF Design Award of the Industrie Forum Design in Hannover. Commissioned by BURG, the student, with the support of Professor Heinrich Brummack and Graduate Designer Rainer Samson, developed several designs for a handle that would lock server cabinets securely. One of these designs was developed up to the maturity phase, was registered with the Industrie Forum on a trial basis and immediately awarded a prize.
